Dr. Hastik has been practicing psychiatry in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 26 years. Her practice involves an integrative, personalized approach to the diagnosis and symptom management of a broad range of psychiatric conditions. Dr. Hastik completed her psychiatric residency at the University of California (UCSF) where she also served as an adjunct faculty member. Patient care has remained the focus of her work through an ongoing private practice established in 1998 providing diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy and psycho-pharmacology management.

Advocacy for mental health is her passion and she has given numerous community based and academic presentations focusing on mood and anxiety disorders, Attention-Deficit Disorders and progressive treatment options for patients. In addition to private practice, Dr. Hastik has worked at Hastings College of Law and at a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Redwood City caring for the severely mentally ill patients of San Mateo County. Dr. Hastik's integrative approach includes a particular interest in functional medicine and genetic testing that can enhance mental health and wellness decision making.
